Matt, Evanna, Bonnie, and Katie interviewed CBBC Newsround has posted new interviews with Matthew Lewis (Neville Longbottom), Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood), Bonnie Wright (Ginny Weasley), and Katie Leung (Cho Chang). Bonnie spoke about how her character evolves in the sixth book, Half-Blood Prince: "In the sixth book and what happens in the relationship with Harry -- it really shows she's not the little sister anymore -- she's become herself. When I was reading it I wasn't expecting it at all -- it was nice. I liked how it came through, as obviously in the first book she showed a liking towards Harry. Lauren and Katie, both 12, Liverpool What was it like kissing Daniel Radcliffe on set in front of the whole crew? Katie: That wasn't too bad. The time leading up to the kiss I was so nervous. I was having sleepless nights thinking about it. When the moment came it wasn't too bad. It went very well and I've seen the finished result and I'm very pleased with it. Daniel was a very good kisser. Racio, 13, Windsor Is it difficult being the underdog in the first few movies, then in this one you get a big role as part of Dumbedore's Army? Matt: I enjoyed playing Neville in the first few films - making people laugh. I love doing that. Then this year to be given more responsibility in terms of the drama and the motion of the film and the action at the end - it's just been a big step up for me. The challenge has been wonderful and I've really, really enjoyed the last year and hopefully it'll continue. Jocasta, 11, Corby Are you planning to follow in Dan's footsteps and do some theatre acting? Matt: I've done theatre before. Not quite the West End. I do love it. The buzz you get from theatre is incredible. It's just that it's very hard work. I'm going to see Dan later on and I'm sure it's going to be incredible. Not just yet - I'm too lazy really. Maybe in the future. Poppy, 12, Hampshire What is the weirdest thing a fan has ever given you or sent to you? Katie: I remember travelling to Japan for the promotion of the last film and I got a paper beach ball whilst I was on the red carpet for the premiere, so that was pretty odd. I didn't really know what to do with it! Matt: The weirdest thing was a yellow pepper which had lots of different biro messages written on it all just saying different random things. I guess it had the greatest influence because it was years ago and I still remember it to this day. I think I've still got it somewhere at home - probably all mouldy and horrible! Group of 8 and 9-year-olds in Miss Little's class in Sunderland What is it like being famous at your age? Katie: I don't know. I wouldn't say any different, it's not like I get recognised in the street very often. Sometimes I get the odd few coming up saying I enjoyed the movies. I'd say it's just the same. Matt: I just never thought I'd be doing stuff like this. Sat talking to Lizo from Newsround doing an interview - that's pretty crazy when you think about that. When I go back home to Leeds I like to think it's not that different. I don't get recognised as much because I don't look too much like Neville. I guess I'm quite lucky. My friends are all so great I just get back to being normal. I don't think it's changed me that much - I hope not anyway. Joanna, 12, The Hague What animal is, or would, your Patronus be? Matt: I think mine would be a dolphin because they're so intelligent. Probably wouldn't be though - probably a badger or something! Katie: I was going to say that! I think a swan as they're such elegant animals. Harnick, 11, Leicester What's the best moment on and off the set in whole HP experience? Matt: I love doing all the action and fighting in the new film, the Order of the Phoenix. Being able to train with the stunt guys and have all that make up blood on and running around being active and firing spells. It was something I hadn't done before. I felt like James Bond - it was cool! Katie: Off set and on set, I enjoyed hanging around with the cast. We had so much fun - such a laugh, doing stupid things. We got to know each other a lot better. Bonnie Wright and Evanna Lynch Karis, 9, Edinburgh Are you both similar to the characters you play? Bonnie: Ginny is very shy in the first few books. She becomes more confident in this film and through Dumbledore's Army. She wants to show that she can get into her fighting spirit too. I think I was shy when I was younger but I think she's more like me in this film. A bit more outgoing and wanting to be part of the adventure. Evanna: Yes, we're similar but not the same. I'm much more determined than her. I know what I want so I chase after it. I don't think Luna would chase after it. Emma, 12, Woking Before you got the part of Luna, did you have any kind of drama lessons or were you in plays at all? Evanna: Yeah, I went to drama class every Saturday. It was fun. It wasn't serious. We did a play every so often. Izzie, 13, Sydney Ginny's character has developed really well leading up to the important role in book six. Are you looking forward to that? What do you think of the way that Ginny's character has changed throughout the last five films? Bonnie: In the sixth book and what happens in the relationship with Harry. It really shows she's not the little sister anymore - she's become herself. When I was reading it I wasn't expecting it at all - it was nice. I liked how it came through, as obviously in the first book she showed a liking towards Harry. Ellie, 9, Fleet Is it easy to actually learn your lines? Is it fun performing on set when you've done that? Evanna: Yeah - not much learning to do, especially if you've read them as much as me. It's better not to learn them word for word as it gets very mechanical. It's always fun. Bonnie: Yeah, it's nice once you get there. You get a feel for how you want to play the lines. Evanna: One line leads to the next really. Bonnie: Yeah, and on the set we actually get the atmosphere and work off each other. Alison, 13 Do you still hang out with all the friends you knew before you became famous? Bonnie: Yeah, definitely as I'm still at school so I'm still seeing all my friends. They're all supportive. Evanna: Yeah, I'm sticking with my friends. They're all Harry Potter fans. It's nice to have something that's still the same. Laura, 13 London What's it like being the new girl on the set of the Harry Potter movies? Evanna: I think I fitted in quickly. After one week you don't feel like the new one, you feel like you've been there your whole life. They want you to be part of it.

OOTP tops COS at American box office Order of the Phoenix's $1.6 million haul yesterday brought the fifth film past the second, Chamber of Secrets, in U.S. box office receipts. OOTP has now made $262.7 million domestically. This means that Phoenix is now the third most successful of the Harry Potter films in the United States. It is likely to surpass Goblet of Fire's $290 million gross in the coming weeks as well, which would make it the most successful of the series behind Sorcerer's Stone.

Wii a 'fantastic platform' for OOTP video game In a new interview with Cubed3.com, the creative director of the Order of the Phoenix video game talked specifically about the Nintendo Wii version of the game. He said: Wii has been a fantastic platform for us. When we first saw the console it felt like Nintendo had designed a console for Harry Potter; we were really excited! One of the big objectives we had for this game was to make the player feel like they really were casting magic, and as soon as we saw the Wii-mote we realised something really special was about to happen for Harry Potter fans! It really suited the game design we’d been putting together. When we got our hands on the dev-kits, everyone gathered round, excitedly and then we realised it was going to take a lot of time to learn how to connect the way the player used the Wii-mote to how Harry would use a wand. So to do the Wii-mote justice, we had to set lofty ambitions. We set ourselves the challenge of making you forget you had a Wii-mote, and make you believe you had a wand. Hopefully we’ve succeeded in getting close to that with this game for Potter fans and offering something new to experience for all Wii-players.

Alan Rickman: Snape is 'quite an insecure person' In an interview with The Brisbane Times, actor Alan Rickman talked briefly about his role as Severus Snape in the Harry Potter films. He said that Snape is "quite an insecure person, always longing to be something else that people will really respect. "At this point, it's good to have done something for children. I like the fact it's persuaded children to read. If I'm going to be working when I'm 80, I need them as my audience."

The Deathly Hallows Workout Fitness Magazine has produced a workout routine specifically for Harry Potter fans, showing them how to make the best use of Deathly Hallows (and burn the most calories) after they finish reading it. Here's the first exercise: "Stand with feet hip-width apart, holding the book in front of thighs, arms straight down. Squat and set the book on the floor. Stand up. Squat down again and pick up the book up with both hands. Repeat 20 times." For Legs and Butt: Stand with feet hip-width apart, holding the book in front of thighs, arms straight down. Squat and set the book on the floor. Stand up. Squat down again and pick up the book up with both hands. Repeat 20 times For Triceps: Lie on your back with knees bent, feet hip-width apart and on the floor. Hold the book in both hands with arms extended above your chest. Keeping elbows stationary, lower the book toward your head; straighten. Repeat 15 times. For Core: Sit in a chair with knees hip-width apart, holding the book close to the chest with elbows bent. Twist your torso to the right while turning your knees to the left; twist going the other way. Do 20 reps. There they all are. Enjoy your HP workouts Head of Avada Kedavra 95 Keegan M. Cairns

Weekend OOTP box office update Over the weekend, Order of the Phoenix increased its worldwide gross from $708 million to $770 million, with a $9 million weekend at the U.S. box office. Although OOTP topped Prisoner of Azkaban domestically, it is still $20 million shy of beating it out worldwide. The film is also just $1 million short of surpassing the domestic gross of Chamber of Secrets ($262 million).

She will be costarring alongside fellow Harry Potter actor Richard Griffiths (Uncle Vernon), and production will commence later this month. Harry Potter as Christian as 'Narnia' In the wake of the release of Deathly Hallows, many readers and critics have discussed the distinctly Christian themes present in the series as a whole, and the last book in particular. In an article running in several newspapers this weekend, reporter Jeffrey Weiss analyzes these religious overtones more closely, saying that "Christian themes abound" in the final book. Although no mention of God, heaven, hell, or prayer is ever made in the series, Weiss notes that the religious identity of Harry's parents is made clear in Deathly Hallows by one of the two Bible verses that are included in the book. The verses don't give anything away out of context, so we'll share them here: "The last enemy that shall be defeated is death" (1 Corinthians 15:26) and "Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also" (Matthew 6:21). But those verses are only the tip of the iceberg in terms of religious content in the series. We won't delve into the rest here, as that definitely gets into spoiler territory, but feel free to read the article here (spoiler warning, of course). Weiss concludes that "many readers who finish the Potter saga will conclude, perhaps to their surprise, that Harry's World is at least as Christian in its essential underpinnings as is C.S. Lewis's Narnia."

OOTP tops $700m, surpasses POA in US Today, Order of the Phoenix raised its worldwide gross to $705.5 million, but more importantly, it topped Prisoner of Azkaban in domestic box office totals. OOTP has now made $251.5 million domestically, compared to POA's $249.5 million. It is only $10 million away from passing Chamber of Secrets in the USA, which it certainly has the potential to do this weekend. While it would be difficult for OOTP to beat Sorcerer's Stone's astronomical take of $317.6 million domestically, we are optimistic that it will top Goblet of Fire's $290 million, the second highest tally so far in the series.

HP special effects team reveals OOTP secrets! The Art Institute Online, a division of The Art Institute of Pittsburgh, recently interviewed Academy Award winners Tim Burke and John Richardson, special effect supervisors on the Harry Potter films. In the interviews, Burke and Richardson discussed behind-the-scenes details on how they helped bring Order of the Phoenix to the big screen. Tim Burke spilled the beans on Voldemort's appearance at the Ministry: The big fight at the end, in the atrium, is probably the best example because there we have a combination of shots where Voldemort explodes all of the windows in this huge, huge atrium. We had a set which was built, it’s a very large set, where we did a even larger digital extension to it. So we did a lot of it in the computer. Voldemort uses a huge wave of energy to explode all of these glass windows which make up a large proportion of the set. John Richardson rigged up a practical explosion on the set for us which involved blowing sugar glass windows which we shot with a seven or nine camera set up shot from multiple angles into which we composited some blue screen characters or used some stunt doubles. Because of the scale of the set we had to then extend that set and add on top of that with computer graphics breaking glass in a computer graphics set extension. That scene was a combination of both techniques using both practical effects and CG effects. During the fight we also have moments where Voldemort creates a serpent, a 60-foot snake, out of fire which attacks Dumbledore and Dumbledore gathers the fire from the snake and throws it back at Voldemort. They are using all of these elemental spells.

You have to register and vote for about 30 other categories before you get to OOTP's category, "Choice Summer Movie - Drama/Action Adventure." HARRY POTTER SAVES EA EA, the maker of the Harry Potter video games, was expected to announce a big loss yesterday, but thanks to strong sales of Order of the Phoenix, their revenue dip was "narrower than expected," Forbes writes. Sales of the video game hit two million within its first week on sale last month. Have any of you played the OOTP game? The Wii version is nothing short of awesome, in my opinion.
